Trade with Nails by Blade

This trade was my first trade ever, and it was so fun! When the opportunity came up for this, I immediately was all for it! Rae had reached out to me and showed interest in getting jewelry made by me, in return of getting my nails done! We both knew this would be a great way to up both of our experience and portfolios! Rae wanted silver jewelry, with a whimsical goth aesthetic, and she gave all creative freedom up to me! I first started with looking up inspiration for jewelry with the whimsical goth aesthetic, and got some color inspiration from those. I then went bead shopping, which is where I really started getting a feel of the colors I was going to use. I picked up some fun chain to include as well. Afterwards I proceeded to start sketching out some design ideas for the statement necklace. I got my main inspiration from iron gates, and pulled together a unique design from there! Once I started getting hands on, I got a better feel of how everything was going to work together. For the other two pieces I wanted to keep them a little simpler, but still match the statement necklace. I ended up with a dainty little necklace, and an arm cuff! I really loved how everything together, and this by far is my most detailed necklace I have made!
